Mt.Kinabalu

Dear Blog, sorry for not updating you for sucha long time. My apologies yeah?
I just got home from Sabah about a week ago. I swear across my kidneys that the trip was effing awesome!
It an experience i would never forget. Trust me its impossible to.
Mount.Kinabalu Family stays as one. <3
( Did i mentioned this is my first time boarding an airplane? )
Day one : We had our lunch at Sri Melaka Restaurant. We then proceed to Rose cabin where we checked in for our first night in Sabah. That night is unforgettable, right Kai? you Irritating person! BT!
I could say the stay was indeed great. The food was great. "Bryan, youre growing. (: " Kai will always stay the same even after consuming a lot every eating session. Somehow i find the first night sleepless. I had runny nose! We witnessed the sunrise. Somehow. Azeem woke us up for that. Thanks~
Day two: We had breakfast at Rose cabin, and proceed to the base mountain by vans. We were on our way to climb Mt.K! Mission: To guide the primary school kids up to 'Pendant Hut'. For the 6 hours trek up, we were caught somewhere 3/4 to pendant hut in the heavy-unexpected downpour. Oh man! I wasn't properly prepared. Tsk!
I enjoy being drenched. But i have to admit that the rain was somewhat cold. And my body system cannot adjust to the cold weather that easily. After overcoming those seven huts up the mountain, we succeeded in reaching Pendant Hut before dark. HipHip, Hooray!
We settled down and had our dinner at Leban rata, where we witnessed the sunset. Beautiful Sunset. Free-flow restaurant. I give my two-thumbs up for that. Surprisingly, there's a lot of other hikers there. A whole lot of them. I made a new friend up there. Silly me, i did not ask for her name. -.-
It was pitched dark when we finished our dinner. And we could see our breath whenever we talked. How cool is that? With no source of light, we held hands, and guide each other up to pendant hut. Sorry Azeem. I trembled at that point of time. Sleepless night again. I had butterflies in my stomach throughout the whole night. Boo.
Day three: Summit push/Hike down the mountain.
We begun our summit push at about 2am to catch the sunrise. I suffered AMS(Acute Mountain Sickness). I am disappointed in myself. fcukyeah 'Aisyah. With deep grief, i did not continue my summit push but when back down instead. Oxygen canopy too limited. I did not eat my breakfast. Could be because of that too. I suffered from short-breath. Saaad right?
We receive a sudden news that we are going to hike down without those who went for the summit push at about 10am i think? I find going down the mountain is easier than hiking up. We reached Timpohon gate( where we started the hike ) , about estimated four hours? Nice one kids.
Okay there's this embarrassing thing that occurred to me. Ask me personally. Teehee. OMG. Its funny at the same time. We then made our way back to rose cabin and rest for the night. We had informal reflections bout the hike after dinner. Shocking and saddening. Try Sabah tea. Its awesome.
Day four: We visited a small village called "Mari-Mari Cultural Village" Its this small rural state village where they are dress very different from us. They are rich in their customs and beliefs. Of course its just a set-up for tourism but i still find it cool. One of them,(not the one i took a picture with), i have a crush on him. Hahaha. Nice one.
I would like to recommend all you readers about this small attraction place located in Sabah. Its really awesome to see guys in their least clothing and tall feathers hand-made hats walking around. Its something you wont get to see everyday. (:
Shopping time wasn't friendly at all ! Booo! Such a lil time with limited varieties! Tsk! I feel like getting my money back. But i find the stuffs that i bought somewhat worth it. *pats my own shoulder. After shopping time, we headed to Shangri-La Hotel. 3-Stars baby. I regretted not soaking myself in the bath-tub. Boo. Im doing that with Farhana this coming Perak Trip. Kan Na? Anyone care to join us?
Night market walk was funny. Haha. I bought myself a Mt.K tee! cute or what. We bought Sabah bracelet. All 12 of us. Including those two teachers. Huakk. Okay we had serious talking reflections about 1015 hrs in the teachers' hotel bedroom. Whatever happened there, stays there. We are one. We are forever one family. (L) We shared one love. (:
Slept about 2am? Roomate with Huda Baharuddin! I love her. Forever will eh din? (:
Day Five: Had breakfast at the Hotel. Free flow. Pre-order omelette cooking right in-front of our eyes. Cheese omelette is the bom. Melts in your mouth. Waffles with maple syrup never fails me. (: Ba tiao !!!!!!! hahahahaha! funny! Sick people. Mind corrupted. We left for the airport. SIlkAir. We reached S'pore bout 1430. Awesome. I kinda miss Sabah. I want to go there again. This time with proper preparation and with high hopes of reaching the summit. Can? hee.
I love the Mt.K trip. Mt.K family-(L) Parents picked me up. Surprisingly Azim was there too. Hahaha. My punching bag! My bro! I had nuggets for lunch. Airplane food was balanced. I could rate it about 4/5. I love Dylan Mah. All the above are just summarized into paragraphs. There's a lot more to everything actually. (:
I went to Changi Beach on 28th to celebrate my granny's birthday with was on 30th and there was a Sentosa outing for Mt.K family + Shahir on Saturday. A day out to celebrate Shahir's birthday and for mt.K family. I will elaborate more bout it. Enjoy the pictures. There's a whole lot more on my facebook. Eat well readers, do not skip meals. I love Dylan. <3
